I'm not watching this. But I bet the filth will not have 4 goals disallowed. All I can hope for are some injuries and really bad jet lag for them when they get back.

Really hope the manc cunts get beat. As mickey mouse as the tournament is, the tag "Club World Champions" which will be trotted out by every commentator really doesnt sit easy with me. I hope they get fuckin twatted, with broken legs for Rooney, Tevez, Ronaldo, Ferdinand, Vidic and Berbatoss. Might be expecting a bit too much though.

Why is this tournament 'mickey mouse'?

I think it's a great competition and would have loved us to win it 3 years ago. How often do the best teams from South America get to play the best team from Europe? And it gives the teams from the other (admittedly far weaker) continents a chance at testing themselves.

And not that it's the most important thing, but there is a big chunk of prize money available for winning this.

I'd have loved us to win it myself, and we where robbed against Sao Paulo. No way on this earth where they better than us. I'd regard it as a mickey mouse tournament due to the fact that the standard of teams, apart from the European entry, is generally shit. In all honesty the games are like glorified friendlies in the manner that they are played. I dont know, maybe micky mouse is too strong. Its definately a tag you'd like to have next to your name, but the laid back manner in which the european sides can win this title is hardly befitting of being World Champions.

Yeah, because English sides have been ultra successful in this tournament, even back when it was just Europe v South America, winning a whole 1 game.

In fact, it's not just English sides, you do realise this is the 5th final under what is known as the world club cup since 2000 and European sides have won it once?

Even when it was just Europe v South America, the South American's won it more often than the Europeans.

So if you are going to generalise about shit, then please generalise accurately.

And fuck off Rooney you cunt.

So does that mean he'll be banned for the CHampions League - straight red is normally 3 game ban.

Is it a FIFA or UEFA competition?

According to the Beeb website Vidic will miss a CL game, let's hope it's Inter away.

Actually it says CL tie, dunno if that means both legs.
