I see your point, but we'd never have two centre backs on the bench for a league game anyway.

I know. Maybe I'm just panicking a bit with things going wrong at CB for us in tis game. I think we're a bit short there. If we could nab Richards it would be a huge coup and would set us up at the back for years to come. I'm sure it's unlikely though. Why would Citeh sell when they have no time to get a replacment? They also have money so the won't be tempted by some cash. Richards will leave when he wants Champions League football. He'll probably stay where he is for at least one more year while he grows as a player.

As for this game - Voronin! About time. Feel much better now!

Still cant help but think about how sundays game will effect us.....

Bring back the electric chair for styles....

On a side note, think we still need a CB that can step into the side along with sami and give agger and carra a rest...With all the talk about money that was available, i dont think we have the backing to go for richards....

What about taylor?

Job done. Hard game that, Sunderland fighting for everything, some great play at times, good keeping and some sloppy finishing kept it to 2-0. Stokes looked good for them. Pennant MOTM first half, faded, maybe Voro for the second half. Just hope Carra recovers.
