My 15 year old has been wanting some New Balance ones for a while. I was gonna wait ‘til summer but she’s started going to the gym with her mates so I let her order them the other day. £90. I don’t even pay that for my own trabs.

They’re trendy now, apparently. I almost fainted when she opened the box. They’re fucking moon boots. If any of us had wore them for PE at school we’d have never lived it down. She tried them on and gave me the teenager face when I asked if they light up when she walks.

A lot of love for On trainees amongst our fan base. I don’t see any other sets of supporters that wear these.

I’ve never heard of them before.

Just Googled and they are ghastly.

New Balance are wank. Mainly worn by coffee drinking KPMG, Accenture, EY types.

The current generation of young people (twenties) are the worst dressed of all time. That said, I’ve been wearing New Balance (576 and 670) for years and they are easily the best quality and most comfortable trainees around.

They're nice in fairness. It's those new style with the huge N that are awful and they seem to be worn by those financial/audit types whilst walking about with their Frappochocomochawankochinno's in their hands.
