I fucking love this fella.

Let's hope he picks up just enough results to keep going. The Copenhagen result was really helpful. A draw this weekend, they then probably beat Luton. And they can make us all happy by beating Everton. Get some belief back in seven hag and make sure he's still there for December 17th.

Solksjaer was the worst possible manager. There was literally no way anybody with his CV would have been looked at by any other top six club; a few decent years in Norway and a poor stint at Cardiff means he would have been lucky to get a Championship job.
Yet he had a few decent months as a caretaker, he used to play for them, the board just wanted a quiet life, and none of his ex-teammates ever wanted to say a word against him in the media.
Basically there was never going to be a greater gulf between a manager’s track record, and how long they were going to be given to get things right.
Ten Haag? A wanker who has already been found out. How long he lasts probably just depends upon how long it is until the takeover happens. But he has 10 times the CV of the goblin.

Solskjaer was indeed perfect.

Although having said that, weren't they rumoured to be considering Giggs when they ended up appointing Mourinho? He won a few games as caretaker and there were rumours that they were considering appointing him permanent manager. That would have been even better than Solskjaer. Watching one of their genuine legends just absolutely flushing his reputation and status with the club down the drain, bit by bit, for a season or two would have been absolutely brilliant!

60m, amazing.

Where does this shite come from that we were in for him? Like they pulled off some sort of coup? He's absolutely hopeless.

That was the rumour in the summer: we failed to get Mount, so we ended up panic buying some Hungarian bloke.
