A draw or Leicester win is the best outcome because it will be totally in our own hands.

But a draw in one of the last two basically kills us off in that scenario, whereas Chelsea thrashing Leicester makes it utterly implausible they’ll better our goal difference (assuming we win the other) and are left with no option but to beat Spurs. I suppose it’s question of whether it technically being in our hands in one scenario is preferable to being more likely to qualify in the other. I understand wanting that element of control, but I think room for error might be helpful, particularly with how this season has been.

Leeds win 10 away games this season for the first time since they won the league in 1972. And go above Everton. If Everton get beat tomorrow by Wolves it will be the worst season in their history for home defeats.

Another first ?.....

Is anyone else bored of saying that ?  It used to be fun but nowadays it seems to be every week

We need to get to 69 points . I don't think looking at permutations where we drop any points helps.

No 'protest' from the vermin tonight....

Would have thought refusing to give Glazers money would have been a much more powerful protest than breaking into ground and slashing police.

It's odd their protests against their owners coincide with games against Liverpool .

Putting my distaste for Everton to one side , they probably sum up how shit and asterisky this aeason has been. Home form the worst for losses since the 1870's , Away form the best for wins ( including any of their league winning seasons ) since the 1870's
