I thought this was better than expected:

I wouldn't have watched it if I'd known the cast, but it turned out to be very good.

Also, the hint at Princess Margaret being a "swinging, good time girl" in the Sixties is fascinating: https://www.chicagoreader.com/Bleader/archives/2008/03/07/whats-the-real-story-behind-the-bank-job

I never really understand what people mean when they say a film hasn't aged well. When I watch a film made and set in, say, the 70s or 80s, I accept it for what it is, enjoy it and don't feel the need to compare it to modern stuff.

Not just the film though, I mean Sneakers for example I watched when it came out when I was 16. 16 year old me really liked it, I may watch it now and realise the acting is terrible or the plot is full of holes and production a bit ropey.

I can think of many films I loved growing up but when you watch them back now they're actually not as great as you thought.
