Given Borini's crucial goals for them this season, plus his general play seems better now he's a regular in the team, I'd be amazed if anything could convince Sunderland to cancel his loan, given that they have just days ago finally climbed out of the relegation zone and have some winnable games coming up. Oh, and that cup final thing too.

Well, to be fair, we did almost the same thing with Illori. Stockpiled, sent on loan.

That's one. Chelsea are operating on an entirely different planet in that regard. I think we bought Ilori because he's a talented young player that we'd like to play for us. Chelsea have more than a team out and about. I'm not against the odd loan of young players or whatever, but to be throwing so much money into doing it is just cheating.

I'm amazed at the lack of attention this gets. Chelsea have a full team, with a subs bench and squad, chelsea C if you like, who could compete pretty well in the Premier League. These players could be playing for their rivals in Europe and the Premier League, but they're not, they're at Vitesse Arnhem. Or playing against a team taking points off their Premier League rivals but can't play against them. It's the football equivalent of doping, should be cracked down on and outlawed.

Ever since Spurs have taken one of those kiddie sized chairs at the top table of english football they've been shadowing us like fucking hawks waiting to swoop.

I think part of the strategy maybe to drive up price at times and fuck us in the ass, at other times they genuinely see the player's were interested in as being worth buying.

I think they also see us as vulnerable and have done for a few years. They know they can't go toe to toe money wise with Chelsea/Citeh maybe even United. But they can with us these days.

Really? they've got a few more £80M players hanging around then?

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/jan/30/chelsea-links-third-party-ownership

Chelsea Football Club appear to be involved in the funding of "third-party ownership" of players

outside the Premier League, contrary to the Premier League's and Uefa's strong official

condemnation of the practice. Company documents in the UK, Jersey and Ireland strongly

suggest that Chelsea are working in partnership with José Mourinho's Portuguese agent Jorge

Mendes, and the US company Creative Arts Agency, who buy "economic rights participation

agreements" in footballers playing for other clubs outside the Premier League.

And you can bet your last ruble, that's the tip of the iceberg. What will happen though? Docked points, huge fine, relegation? Naaah, that's for the poor fuckers.

Fuck the FA, scumbags on the take with nothing to say about the important stuff, but always run their mouths and act self-righteous when they get half a chance to bully someone to make themselves look good.
