I used the Patio centre in Marple, next to Wyevale. Got some lovely Indian stone, some of the slabs have fossilised ferns in then, looks ace.

yes, looked at off-white gloss doors but want granite tops too, have booked an appointment with wickes - see what they come up with - we had Wren round last week, would not recommend them.  I wanted to speak to someone that actually knew a few things about kitchens, all I got was a sales rep who had no idea on design etc

Got a chap in to paint the house at the moment. Just caught him at the end of putting the kitchen cupboards back up after just one coat of paint. He's taking the cupboards back down with a face that says he is going to do bad things to my toothbrush when I'm at work next week

I wouldn't buy the granite tops off Wickes, you can get them cheaper elsewhere, unless you can get a quote from somewhere and maybe Wickes will match their price.

Try Westcoast plumbing. They're based in Aintree. I've just had my bathroom done by them (redesign, refit, lighting and so on) and am getting them round to do the kitchen next.
