Origi was back in 4 last year. This might make some teams open up a bit more against us. At least I hope so. Lallana looks like he will be back for the weekend. Gini should also be considered for one of the wide player positions on occasion. He can score goals when used in that way.

That's as good as we realistically could have hoped for. I'm relieved, we have a relatively generous run of fixtures up till the City game. Big Div looks like he's going to step up to the plate and Lallana and Sturridge to come back we should be fine until Phil's ready to return.

I don't know which other team would cope with that sort of talent missing from their attack.

TBF Ings hasn't been a part of our squad for the majority of the time and Sturridge is more or less the same. Obviously Coutinho and  Lallana on current form would be missed by anybody, but we can't afford to lose anymore of our top players is my point.
