I realise this is distinctly unlikely, but, other than everyone else in English football collectively pissing themselves, what I wonder would happen if City collapsed now and dropped out of this season's top 4, given their FFP problems and seeming lack of Chelsea's ability to write their own cheques for player sales.

He's needlessly confrontational, a bit odd and comes across as a right tosser, so I'm really starting to warm to Nigel Pearson.  His interviews and press conferences in particular just make me laugh; the no-nonsense, po-faced manner in which he dispenses with typical football journalist bullshit is quite refreshing, and as he won't last long, it's unlikely to get too repetitious.
