Never even thought about the tv camera angles. Only way to keep current one would be to mount the main camera to the front of the upper tier in the new stand,like a crows nest.

I'd be very surprised if they increase the number of season ticket holders significantly .

 

From a commercial perspective there's very little benefit as your average ST holder generates far less income than your average day tripper.

 

The counter to that would be guaranteed income but it's unlikely we'll struggle to sell out 58k.

There are at least 16000 people on that wait list. If they're gonna add another 15000 on the capacity you would have to hope they'll make 8000 - 9000 new season tickets.

More renders. I like the sense of space that's been created thanks to the demolition of those houses. Normally, these renders are not wholly accurate because a lot can change between the time the renders are done to when the work is completed, but if they can create this sense of space, it doesn't half change the look of the area for the better.

(Extra capacity to 60k = 15,500, new ARE aound 13,500 the same as the Holte End, so the new main Stand has to soak up an extra 11,500 seats.)

In the Mirror article Ayre is saying first stage completion by 2016. I would think that means Lothair road is going to be flattened in the summer. As that won't need to wait on planning.
