I fucking love that song and it's a great cover. The video below of both the band and stable singers singing it together I must have listened to a thousand times. It still gives me goose bumps at around the 1.45 mark when Pop Staples sings his solo in his effortless hushed velvet voice.

That's pretty good too, must be late 50s very early 60s, Bobby Womack is one of many artists I've missed over the years, obviously heard some more mainstream, that I need to listen to more. 

Which is good really as you can get into new yet old material, there's loads of it out there, I keep going further and further back and think that's a great song I never knew.

I don't have much Bobby Womack stuff but absolutely love this song, think it's from circa 1973.

Beautiful. I love Bobby Womack hard to pick a favourite but the one below is right up there for me. The fella playing lead guitar on this is a fella called James Johnston who played on loads of classic soul records of the time, I love the way he makes his guitar form a duet with Bobby's voice.
