I know very little about classical music, but I do know what I like. My two favourites are Claire De Lune by Debussy:

This is one of my many favourite classical pieces even when Victor Borge used to do an act around it.

Been to about 6 Andre Rieu concerts in mancland, Liverpool and Newcastle before the pandemic. Have got out of the ticket ordering cycle and he's switched from usually being in England late November to early December to sometime around April.

Will have to get tickets for another concert though.

Getting more and more into this as I listen to more. I'm a complete philistine and it's like an alien listening to a cd called 'The best of music'.

Some of it make the hairs stand up. Thinking of going to a few concerts but don't know where to start.

Love this but probably because its been in great films.

I've just visited Puccini's house in Lucca and seen this sacred object: the piano on which Turandot was composed.

Next time you're singing Nessum Dorma in the shower, just think that that series of notes (or, at least, the notes you're aiming for) first took to the air on this instrument.

Just been to a rather splendid evening at the Phil.  When we were there for Stewart Lee last night, we saw this advertised and decided to get a couple of tickets.

Excellent music - but I'll never get my head around the applause etiquette at classical concerts.
