I tried to persuade the Mrs to go see Bananrama a few years ago purely so I could perv over Sarah but she wasn’t having it.  Never have I been so disappointed in her not wanting to go see an 80s pop act!

 Met her once in a pub in London one  night not long after she replaced Siobhán. Really nice girl. Gorgeous too. I was only 16 at the time so she let me down gently gawd bless her.

I went to see Tommy when it first came out. It was  AA which meant you had to be 14 to get in.

I was 12, and that bit was a definite highlight.

A woman I knew in Abersoch her son was one of her PAs, she and her husband met her backstage at one of her concerts might have been Vegas I'm not sure and said she was absolutely lovely and had time for everyone.

She was holidaying in Ireland years ago and legendary Gaelic Footballer Páidí Ó She's invited her to his pub. She ended up singing a few songs in it and everyone loved her
