I thought it ws a bit trashy - great to look at (especially the tits) but just abit cheesy. As vampire shows go I preferred Being Human although the effects are a bit naff on a BBC budget.

Really liked how the vampires played 2nd fiddle to Maryann and her demonic plans. Also like the plot of of the church of the sun, Eric and his maker, and also Eric tricking Sookie into sucking his blood to gain power over her. I thought Andy and Jason went a bit too "commando" in the final episode but really enjoyed it. Left lots of lines open. Jessica (hot) off the rails, Andy covering for Jason shooting Eggs and Bill's disappearance. Gutted I have to wait until June 2010 for the next season

 

It's worth sitting through some of the poorer bits of season 1 for the awesomeness of this season
