Watched the first four episodes on catch-up last weekend and really enjoyed it. Will probably torrent season 2 but my snail-like broadband means that it's taking age to download Rescue Me season 4 at the moment.

 

Does anyone know when Season 4 of Rescue Me is coming to British telly? Apparently the 5th season is showing stateside now and they've agreed to a 6th due to an upturn in its ratings and the positive critical response to the current season. I love this show, but Sky appear to have ditched it.

It is very good, I agree. I like the way it swings between piss yourself funny and bleakly depressing within one episode.

 

When he started to pour that bottle over his head and wield the lighter... brilliant.

It's not going to be screened, if I were you mate, I'd download the torrents for them. Started watching the fourth season last night and it's been quality, I'm really intrigued about season five too as it's 22 episodes, 10 of which are set before 9/11. Get on it, mate.

I am up to ep 19 on season 5 and I have to say it's the best season so far. Love the show. Can't say I have noticed that - there is a side story about 9/11 in there though.

It's a decent show, but not one of the best American shows. Rescue Me, The Sopranos, Six Feet Under and, although I've not watched it, The Wire are all top shows.

Just finished the first season last night. I didn't like it at all though it improved slightly in the end. I've got all of season 2 so I may as well give it a watch and decide if I want to keep on watching. Will probably give it up though. I gave up Prison break 2 episodes before the show ended after watching it religiously for 4 seasons.

I feel a sense of resentment with the vampires section 31? Is there something you would like to share from your past?
