I started watching the Taken clip, thinking "surely people have learned not to take his things by now" and yawning, but it actually looks watchable and the addition of Whitaker is a welcome change.

 

The addition of Luc Besson gets my attention.

A slow burn Australian thriller dealing with an investigation into a murdered Aboriginal girl in an outback town. Credits it's audience with the intelligence to put the clues together by keeping the exposition to the minimum. Thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Marvel have gone berserk yesterday announcing new films - Captain America 3 (v Iron Man), Guardians 2, Black Panther, Dr Strange, Captain Marvel, Thor 2, Inhumans & Averngers 3 & 4.

 

Interesting that apart from Avengers, the characters only seem to have a 3 solo-film arch. Doesn't Iron Man kill CA in the Civil War storyline & a quick google of Ragnorok tells me it's a Norse battle where Thor, Loki & Oden die. No Iron Man 4 either. Probably wise because if you include the crossovers, actors will have played the same character 6/7 times are will probably be bored of playing them, as well as the public being bored of the character / actor.

 

I know Marvel are well into their cycle & DC are just starting out but Marvel seem to have it much, much strategy to how the films will cross over & intertwine. DC just seem to be releasing everything & hoping for the best.

Apparently the new Terminator is like Back To The Future 2 in the sense that it features story's running parrell & intertwining with the original Cameron films.

 

That & Arnie gets a hover board or some shit.

 

It'll never be as good or hard as the Camron ones but it sounds interesting anyway. That and Emilia Clarke is in it. Hopefully she'll get her tits out.
