Its amazing how many retarded, mentally challenged people there are on this forum.

Bar being overcome with a rare dose of common sense and logic, Rafa will make four or five changes to the team that played on Tuesday and at least half of these will make no sense whatsoever. You obviously feel that he should not be criticised for this. I think he should.

I predict it will be a boring non eventful game and another totally unconvincing performance. Most likely a draw but we might just scrape the win.

However if he plays the same team as Tues bar Carra (enforced) and Kyut (donkey) we'll win easily and crouchino will cause mayhem.

You are a gross blue nose who writes before finding the facts. You didn't enjoy us beating Milan did you? One enforced change. Now please wind your neck in a get over to blue kipper.

We have dominated both Chelsea and Inter Milan, two very teams playing that formation and Kuyt has been important playing in that role.

I am happy with that team and i think many on here are just fucking moaning for the sake of it.

You ask Rafa to not change things around too much and he hasnt yet still the same fucking people whinge like the tarts they are.

Skrtel isnt fully fit i dont think so therefore cant be risked from the start and Benayoun is on the bench to offer width on the right if needed much like we did midweek against Milan.

I just think a wide man needs to be quick, skillful, be able to beat his man and pose a theat down the flank - Kuyt is none of those things and to be fair to him his good work is done in and around the box. What's the point if after all thise we still don't have a single winger of any note? That said I am not unhappy with the team, just don't get it - it's a 5 man midfield at home to Boro.

I think we should have had genuine wingers out there today as Boro will defend deep and make it compact.

Much like Inter Milan did you mean and it was by not using wingers but by having the full backs attack more allowed us to break them down.

Find my posts as regards this formation and you will see that playing this way allows us to break down a team who will drop as deep as Boro are likely to do.

Babel will play on the left wing drifting inwards. Kuyt will be on the right wing and able to defend against Boros biggest threat on the wing Stewart Downing.

Kuyt has done very well of late out on the wings and its a position he plays regular for the Dutch team so its nothing new for him.

It is an attacking formation as it has 2 players on the wing with 2 in midfield and Gerrard supporting Torres.

This allows the full backs to attack as well the opposition should allow space for them to do so.

I don't think anyone has a problem with using "tactics" to play the likes of Chelsea away or the Champions of Italy. I can see that Rafa has kept pretty much the same team and I applaud that aspect of that but much like against Chelsea and against Inter I simply don't see the logic in playing a slow striker out wide on the flanks especially against shite like Boro.

We have fucking had it if we are deploying our hardest working striker on the flank to counter Stuart Fucking Downing. I too think Kuyt has done reasonably well in the last few games but I think he should and deserves to be played up front - which IMO is better for the team and for him. One up top at home against Boro is the kind of thing that has got us 5th and scrapping with Everton again.

He's good enough out there for his national team so I think he'll be good enough for Boro.

I dont think rafas doing it to wind you up.

Errm he isn't even in the National Team Squad anymore, and everytime I have seen him for Holland he has been pants in any position. I just think he needs to be up front alongside Torres not out wide.

Anyway, anyone got a stream?

That slow striker as you put him is our current striker on form as he has two goals in two games.

He isnt out wide as such and when we attack from his opposite side you will see him come into the penalty box much like he did against Inter Milan.

Like i said i very much like this formation and i hope Rafa plays it more often and in the summer signs some pacey full backs to compliment it even more.
