Another fairly disappointing episode.

Too much dwelling on the past again for my liking.

Seems like they are gonna string this out until the final episode.

To be honest, can't wait for it to end as my patience with it is running very thin.

I've downloaded the first season of Fringe. Should I bother with it or is it gonna be another mind fuck?

Its only a mindfuck when it is at all interesting, and fringe is fucking shite.

And the last few eps of Lost have been immense. While you say focusing on the past I see them tieing things together ready for a gripping end. They've answered some questions that have been around since the beginning.

One of the things I'm most looking forward to in the conclusion of this season is seeing that moment when the timelines come together and Ben realises he did something good for his daughter. I'm sure it'll be an emotional moment and Michael Emerson will knock it out of the park as usual.

Agreed.

Shame it's on a weeks break but as much as the next episode will be good I still can't wait for episode 15. I do think that could be one of the best 45 minutes of tele ever if they get it right.

  • 2 weeks later...

I liked the bit when the group actually seemed to show alot of sadness as when something like that happens before they seem to casually move on and not give a shit.

Next weeks ep is going to be a flashback to Jacob and the Man in Black's past, can't wait!

I agree. When Hurley was crying that about finished me.

I can't WAIT for next week's ep. I fucking love every scene those two do together.

What happened with Desmond and the well. I mean...Locke through a torch down the well and it looked bottomless. Desmond gets pushed in; falls 10 foot and has a mildly sprained ankle.

The Island looks massive. Yet when anyone walks around a corner they bump into someone they know!! Heck...even when Jack launches himself into the sea and gets washed up on an arbitrary beach there is a whole possie waiting for him.

Can't wait to see how it ends up...it looks like they are all ariving at the same place (the hospital) at the same point in time. Could be significant?

That was the bit i was on about cos he was crying and then starting crying his eyes out which was unexpected.

When those 2 do a scene its like 'yes something else will be revealed about the show' just by a raised eyebrow or a stare.

I kinda miss the real Locke and Jack not doing scenes that much anymore though.

in 23AD.
And given how they've refered to the Island more as a thing than a what, I think that's gonna be some start.

Also the finale has been extended to a 2 and a half hour tv special. For those that download I reckon that'll be around 1 hour 45. Boss!

You mean Jacob and the Man In Black (or Esau as I've heard him named as per some old fable I think)? If so, yes, me too. Deeply enigmatic pair. I like the way that I'm still not 100% sure who is good and who is evil, or even if they aren't both a bit evil and just playing some selfish little game a la the two old dudes in Trading Places.

Yeah mate, that's exactly who I mean. Fucking fantastic the pair of them. I love the fact that they are basically Gods on that island and I really want to know who the man in black really is and why he is confined to the island. Also why is Jacob the one there that has to keep him, were there any other "candidates" before Jacob? How long has this been going on and who was it that trapped the man in black on the island in the first place? Is this person still alive?

It is genuinely fascinating now.
