So who should be our next manager?

You can see how pissed off Xabi looks there. I reckon if you asked him, he wouldn't even remember this photo getting took.

Whereas you ask him about his time in Liverpool 1 with you I don’t reckon he’d stop waxing lyrical about the whole day.

Alonso is the only other manager I can be reasonable happy with.

I knew this day would come one day, but certainly not now, fuck me, words cant describe how gutted I am.

I could also take Guardiola, when City get relegated at the end of the season.

Jesus man , you have no soul.

Tuchel is 50/1. If they lose the title to Leverkusen and we don't get Xabi I reckon that's a real possibility.

Oddschecker have:

Xabi - 8/11

De Zerbi 4/1

Nagelsmann 9/1

Ljinders 12/1

Zidane 16/1

Luis Enrique 16/1

Gerrard 22/1

There's nobody on that list outside if Xabi I'd really want. Unsure with De Zerbi, he's done a better job than Potter but how much of Brighton success is from the set up and Tony Bloom analytics side of things with scouting. They dint look as good this year, though they lost both starting midfielders and trying to juggle European football.

I'm honestly unsure how good a manager Zidane is. Strange to say giving his trophies but how much was Zidane and how much having Bale and Ronaldo backed up by Kroos,Midric,Ramos

I’m inclined to agree on Zidane, but then I think back to what I’ve said about City and how it took Guardiola to really unlock their full (unfortunate and ill-gotten) potential despite spending shedloads before him. I’d go for Alonso ahead of him, but I’d take Zidane ahead of any of the others, in the hope that he really is a special manager and not a right place, right time one-club wonder. Suspect he wouldn’t want the job though.

My fear is the owners go for Potter, free and could come in early to observe from the sidelines ready for next season.

I doubt they’d go for someone who was a disaster in his last job & whose achievements at Brighton have been put into perspective by the subsequent manager’s success.

I’d fucking hope not.

I think Potter blotted his copy book at Chelsea. Although Chelsea is a madhouse and that tubby gobshite, Boehly, must be nightmare to work with.

Where did Klopp come from?

He did it over a longer period and as posted earlier, we had little to lose by taking a chance on him, shit team and a shit rep. Now we have a hell of a lot to lose by taking a chance on anyone unproven.
