We’ve done alright but should’ve done much better with some of the counter attacking chances we created. The final ball has been sloppy. Jota has looked sharp. Salah’s been a tiny bit sloppy.

Improve the final ball in the second half and we’ll score.

The Young sending off was correct. He should’ve been off earlier for kicking the ball away after it went out for a throw to us after he miscontrolled it. A rule that now seems to have been abandoned, along with the booking for waving an imaginary card rule?

We looked far superior before the sending off, and even more so after.

But still doesnt feel too comfortable, they have a goal in them from a counter attack or a set piece.

Szoboszlai and Gravenberch both very good, as was Trent and Van Dijk.

Would like to see our three midfielders continue with shots from distance, all three look well capable of scoring from distance. In fact Szoboszlai looked disappointed not to score from his second effort, which says something about what he expects from himself.

Patience may be a key word here.

And of course we should expect to be 10 v 10 at some stage in the second half.

Be more likely the denial of a nailed on pen or a goal disallowed controversially or a really soft pen given to the shite.

They need to watch it with the red card stuff - use it too much and people will start asking questions.

Decent half, but wasteful. We're either not playing the right early ball to Mo, or he's running it straight into the legs of a defender. As I've said before, they know every trick he has coming in from the right - he'd be better off shaking things up a bit and drifting over to the left every now and again.

Trent needs to come to terms with the fact that there are other players who can hit a good free kick. No room for Beckhamitis here. He has a particular weakness for trying to loop the ball over the wall when the kick is too near for that to work.

That pass out from Alisson to someone coming in from the right - it's led to a loss of possession so often recently I really wish he'd bin it.

The ref crap as usual. Wasn't it Young who blasted the ball away earlier on? So much for that being an automatic booking.

Onwards and upwards - with more cool-headed passing up front we can sort this out.
