I hope we play Gomez at right back on Saturday. Trent is still an incredibly naive defender, given his sizeable experience, he should not be getting turned and skinned like he has a few times tonight.

The one player that I don't get the hype for is Elliot. He's definitely decent, has a nice touch on the ball but he's too lightweight and he can't kick it hard enough. Jones and Gravenberch well ahead of him in midfield and Doak will also move ahead of him in attack.

Needs to add goals and he will be fine. I think he's a good player. Only young and loves the ball.

Elliott's role should be as a sub/very occasional starter but I think he's been excellent so far this season. Made a huge difference in the result v Newcastle. Very intelligent player who's improving all the time as a midfielder
