Neither.

Saint and Greavsie was typical overhyped ITV shite - Greaves would slur some or other music hall gag and St John would collapse in laughter as if Peter fecking Cook was in the studio.

Footie Focus was fine so long as you still regarded football as a proper serious sport rather than just as more energetic form of the Stock Exchange.

I sense you are more of a Soccer AM kind of guy?

Saint and Greavsey when it was called something else.  ITV always seemed more rebellious and better.  But then when they started believing their own hype and their personalities became more important than the content, I went back to safe old Bob on the BBC.

I blame the Saint and Greavesy formatting for the abomination that was Soccer AM.  I was talking to a bloke recently who was going on about how brilliant Soccer AM was and because minutes earlier I'd vehemently disagreed with him about something, I had to let it pass without challenge.  A grim experience.

On reflection I should have doubled down and started chanting, "Who are ya?  Who are ya?" at him.

Soccer Am was like a football themed Big Breakfast.

The thing about Baddiel & Skinner was that it was shit.

If Fantasy Football had run for two years, never been resurrected, never even rerecorded Three Lions but instead got back to Number One because they rereleased it due to popular demand, it would be remembered more fondly.

I'd say you get angry when you see a rainbow.

My memory is shit because I don't remember Football Focus as a kid.  Saint & Greavsie and Grandstand yes but not FF.

FF was on grandstand and only became a stand alone programme when grandstand finished. It was always pretty much the first part of grandstand, before some weird winter sport from lillihammer.
