I can't remember who it was, but we conceded a free kick at Anfield a wee while ago when a ball was going out for a throw-in and one of our players (under no pressure) decided to catch the ball to save time; unfortunately the dope caught it before it went out.

I remember that but also can't remember who was involved, may have been Kostas. That situation is different though, he has to award a free as he can't award a throw in as it didn't go out.

Restarts are completely different scenarios, refs have a million outs. Another fairly common situation is someone taking a throw in that could be considered a foul throw or just an attempt to get the ball to the real throw taker, may have been one of those on Sunday, it's a can of worms Howard Webb and the lads would love access too.

Haha, yeah the Saka one just missing a wee bit of defender diving in to win a ball they can't reach and taking out a player. They are mental...

Wan Bissaka knew it was a penno straight away, never even looked at or spoke to the ref.

Whenever we are involved in a situation, common sense goes out the window with opposition fans.

If ever football goes down the franchise route we can be called the Mersey Pissboilers.

Yep. Remember the Kuyt goal against Sunderland? Ref blows, player taps it back so the keeper can take the free kick, and Torres pounces, squaring it to Kuyt.

Everyone expected the ref to just call it back.

That the ball is in play before it leaves the box.

It was supposed to stop time wasting where a defender would play the ball before it left the box and the kick would be reset. Naturally, it's introduced a new type of time wasting where the goalie farts around positioning the ball with 2 defenders in the box, then eventually motions everyone up field.

It was the first item on this week’s Ref Watch…. even though all three of them agreed it was a  straightforward and clearly correct decision!! Anybody other than us, it wouldn’t have even been referred to.

Not sure I seen it mentioned at the time but I'm still seething more than I should.

The Arsenal atmosphere was pretty shit when they were losing 2-1. When they equalised the crowd erupted into our Allez allez allez song complete with the scarf twirling etc.

Unoriginal knobheads. I didn't hear the first line of the song, they surely didn't keep that in.

We won the league at Anfield,

We won it at the lane,

Stamford Bridge, Old Trafford,

No one can say the same,

Mikel Arteta’s army,

We’re Arsenal through and through,

We’ll sing it in the North Bank,

And in the Clock End too.
Allez Allez Allez,

Allez Allez Allez,

Allez Allez Allez,

Allez Allez Allez...

To be fair we nicked the Allez song from Rangers, but I believe it was Atletico Madrid who were first with it. We obviously made it world famous, and it’s us that everyone else has copied.

Wouldn’t be so bad if the country didn’t all say they hate our fans.

Bit surprised with the names linked with taking over from Klopp that Xavi hasn't been mentioned. Said he is leaving Barcelona in the summer and won the league last year and has a small squad with loads of kids and injuries to star midfielders competing well
