I've seen him in a couple of games the last month or so and he hasn't been great in any. Really looks like he is just playing for himself at times. Profit and Sustainability being replaced with a two tier squad cost control measure similar to the proposed UEFA rules with the exception of it being two tiered.

 

Clubs involved in European competition will be able to spend 70% of their annual turnover on wages plus the amortised cost of transfers and agents fee's.

 

Clubs not involved in European competition will be able to spend 85%.

 

Breaching the rules will still incur a points deduction although penalties for minor breaches are being discussed as well.

 

Don't immediately hate the idea although the 70%/85% needs some tinkering (85% needs to be brought down and putting those teams in the UEFA Cup/Conference League on the same as those in the CL seems unfair given the discrepancy in prize money.
