Isak is a much better player than Darwin and went for a similar amount in the same window, I think Newcastle sealed the deal for him quite early though, don’t think we were seriously interested.

He does get injured more than Darwin I guess.

He'a a much better finisher, at the very least, but I'm not sure how you scout for that, to be honest. I'm sure clubs have more advanced stuff but just from what was out there, there was no indication he would be that clinical.

The point is that Darwin should just be better.

Imagine if we'd signed Werner and then also Diaz and Nunez. Omg omg omg.

Werner has a permanent look of mild confusion on his face, as though he’s as puzzled as the rest of us as to how he made it as a top level footballer.

When City with >3-0 today, can the forum kindly refrain from going into hysterics about how we’ve blown it, we’ll finish a distant 3rd, the players have let Klopp down etc etc etc.

Cheers.

Good result this it means spurs are going to motivated to say the least against their bitter rivals in the derby

Spurs will be as up for that Arsenal game as the mancs are for playing us.

Given they’ve already drawn with City twice and Arsenal at home, I’ve not written off Chelsea taking a point off them.

I think Arsenal will probably win tomorrow also. This weekend is about not falling behind.

It’s an insanely good position to be a point ahead of City at this point, given the injuries we’ve had.

One of the things you notice about Isak is he strikes the ball beautifully.
