Puttung Tierney in charge for Sunday is now basically Webbs way of rubbing ours and Jurgens nose in it .

I mean how many times have we been reffed by these Manc twat referees this season alone .

This will be 5 for Tierney (plus at least 3 VAR). Taylor has done 6. So those two bent cunts have officiated 11 out of 36 matches.

Why is Gakpo pointing? He's too nice, a suarez would have put that in the net 3 seconds earlier, wouldn't have given Taylor time to blow his whistle.

He blows as soon as Gakpo moves for the ball.

It is not humanly possible to score before Taylor blows up.

I get that people have an agenda against Gakpo but using this as a stick to beat him with is fucking nonsense.

That seems like a hell of a lot of matches for 2 out of god knows how many refs there are in the PGMOL

Gakpo stops, points at the ball and calls towards Taylor. He's the one that highlights Taylor to the situation.

In the image below Areola has already released the ball, Taylor has his back to it, Gakpo is turning towards Taylor to ask for permission to score a goal. Better to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Yeah, that would be 27. So our two favourite (!) refs (7% of the cohort) get to officiate 30.5% of our games.

Watching Webb talk through the 3 incidents in the Forest game is ridiculous. Dismiss the first 2 as subjective. Also winding me up how Young kicking someone in the leg, nowhere near the ball, is just 'contact' and not all contact is a foul.

At this point it's been said a million times before but listening to the audio for the 3rd you realise it's not getting better. Manage to make a cast iron pen all complicated by talking about 'mutual engagement' and coming into same spaces. He just goes through the back of him you plum.

So the ref says he's won the ball, VAR see's he didn't win the ball. Webb gives some bullshit excuse which includes saying "Primarily they are there to form an opinion, based on the footage, is the on field decision wrong "

Well the fucking ref on the field said he won the ball, so of course it's wrong. And secondly the fact that the ref in the truck is allowed to "form an opinion" is the reason why VAR will never work. They are using the same bloody refs on the field, in the VAR truck, who were already getting so much wrong which is the whole reason why VAR was introduced.

Michael Owen is a pussy too, he asks zero questions of Webb and puts him under no pressure and allows him to get away with this shit every week.

I won't be watching this latest Laurel and Hardy double act - it just induces another crashing sense of impotence and frustration. They cherry pick the situations Webb wants to talk about and prepare some form of words to justify or obfuscate blatant fuck-ups instead of just accepting them as the mistakes that they are. But I suppose, if he did that, he'd be acknowledging that there's a regularity of gross errors that something would have to be done - starting with him getting the sack.

The complete lack of integrity and honesty about all of this. Atwell lied when he said Doku touched the ball before Mac Allister did. Atwell HAS to be insisting that Young did not get the ball but did get the man. Taylor makes three 'subjective' calls - and there's a very strong argument that he got all three wrong (one is actually not subjective in any degree). I don't suppose they talked about the Areola/Gakpo fiasco? - Probably need more time to find some slippery, fantastic excuse for Taylor, who meanwhile sails on serenely with another match at the weekend (after 2 consecutive shitshows).

No wonder Juergen is on his Fahrrad.

Webb will admit tomorrow that Forest should have had a pen vs Everton, only one though. This new "Premier League's Independent Key Match Incidents Panel" have said the other 2 were not pens. Wonder if they'll say anything about Gakpo. That non goal and the non pen vs Man City have pretty much cost is 4pts. So even without any other decisions and as bad as we have been we should be a point back from Arsenal and above City

Well you pretty much nailed this one chief.

Thats why Owen got the job, Webb wouldn't have agreed if it was someone that would pull his bullshit apart. Also doing these shows 2/3 weeks after just lets them release shit to the press, and slowly build a narrative so that when the show is on they can just bluff it

Sick in my mouth there listening to that biased prick saying "Michael never awarded the penalty so VAR intervened and made the right call" as if we can magically forget all the bullshit this season because there's 1 decision they cam fully justify.

Completely ignoring the fact his referee is stood 3 yards away and doesn't give it initially.

Ad I said the other day - footy can never be taken seriously while Webb and the PGMOL are in charge.

It's irrelevant.

Gakpo even had he gone straight to the ball and scored could not have done so before Taylor blew.

Owen does my head in. Why the fuck does he not turn around and say “ the ref says he won the ball , he clearly didn’t and goes through the back of Hudson Odoi which is clearly a foul, why is that not clear to VAR?”

VAR should in principle be a good thing. An instrument to obtain fair and correct decisions.

Instead VAR is used as a tool for PGMOL to back their own decisions, no matter if they're right or wrong,

The number of wrong decisions has't gone down. VAR's slowing the game down and kills the momentum with no upside in terms of correcting wrong decisons.

Get rid!

But keep the PGMOL?

That's backwards logic surely.

They somehow have to organize refereeing, so I reaslly don't care if they call it Professional Game Match Officials Ltd or something else. It's been there since 2001.

VAR has to go though!

Scrap the PGMOL.

Scrap clear & obvious.

Bring the referees under Premier League control.

Have Stockley Park be run independently under the auspices of the Prem.

Hire the best men or women from wherever and invest in better training.

Ban outright moonlighting in the far east.

Do all of that and I guarantee you standards will improve ahead of just going back to these bent fucking twats ruining a result cos' they hate the manager.
