Just before he took the corner yesterday in which Virg scored from, he took a few seconds to take a deep breath to compose himself and then delivered that wonderful cross in the most important moment of the game. Not really been picked up on.

Adding to that, I think Robbo was below par yesterday. He didn't do much wrong but wasn't really in the game much. Likely due to him still finding his fitness after being out for so long.

I think our game has changed since Mane left.   Diaz is not likely to play the ball to the overlapping defender as he focuses on cutting inside to try to get a shot away.  In addition, Diaz doesn't really do much in the way of defensive work, so Robertson is constantly getting exposed by runners behind him these days.  And I wish he could jib the habit of turning his back on the ball when someone is about to cross it.

We're very strong at left back now with Gomez' emergence. Have the player in Robbo who will get in the best attacking positions, have the player in Gomez who has size and can invert and have the player in Tsimikas who can provide the technical touch.

It's a really good mix that, especially with Robbo just not being as good anymore, we should and could really rotate depending on what we need for a specific opponent.
