I don't mind Biffy, in particular that song I've posted. Its fucking great. 

 

That said, this should be a fucking landslide and I would go as far to say that anyone who votes Biffy in this is a nonce.

That song isn't even Biffy Clyro's best song. I'm going with the nonce vote.

Never heard of Biffy whoever but the Jam would beat 95% of anybody they are up against. This might as well have been called The Jam versus Stromsgodset.

Not a big lover of either but voted for The Jam as some of their stuff reminds me of holidays away with the lads (Going Underground was a bit of an anthem on our first lads holiday in Estartit).

I like The Jam, they're not one of my favourites by any means but I like them and they're clearly an important part of British music history. On the other hand, I don't even understand why Biffy Clyro are in it. So an easy choice

Biffy are ace. The Jam are The Jam.  Pretty tempted to go with bands that are more relevant to my own gig experiences, but then considered the fact that a lot of Biffy's success coincided with Simon Neil singing with an over-exaggerated American accent.

I've got nothing by them myself. Closest is the Mark Lanegan and Isobelle Campbell albums in the style of Lee and Nancy. They're better than Kasabian though.

Belle and Sebastian's album If You're Feeling Sinister is brilliant. Never listened to anything else of theirs, not sure why either. Kasabian, on the other hand, are drivel.

Biffy are probably one of the only decent Alt rock bands to come out of the 2000s. They got some belting tunes and the album puzzle is proper heartfelt about his old dears death. Shame they are up against Paul Well’ard.
