Fuck takeaways, what's the big deal about them? You can live without them, it's the bars and restaurants that matter more with people's livelihoods at stake, surely there's something that can be done I don't know, whilst I acknowledge the seriousness of things I feel like there is something going on, Ive known only one to have had it, the old girl a couple of doors away and she's sound now.

You reckon Joe Anderson is going to shut the Lobster Pot?

Restaurants especially, they're a different animal to bars. You pre book, you get seated, you stay seated, you leave, most people don't get drunk in them. They collect all your contact details when you book too. It's brutal.

Heartbreaking because liverpool was a black hole for dining for years and it's only in the last ten years or so that things have taken off, how many will survive.

That's right enough.

MI for this is my job.

It’ll take a while for that to flush through. Banks processes will ensure all attempts at contact are exhausted before proceeding and given customers have been told not to call in, it’ll take time to work through those. Also, I bet there is  then a backlog in the courts, plus there is a Christmas amnesty I don’t think there will be any significant numbers until c.March’21.

And even then, those who do get to court; I bet anybody who says to a judge “I was getting back on my feet and then <<insert whatever COVID19 related excuse you can possibly think of >> and I bet judges side with the customer in the vast majority of occasions.

Certainly hope all that's true, especially if the ban isn't extended, but it still leaves people with a shitload of arrears to pay, some of whom have barely anything coming in.

Fat,Joe and Steve Rotherham scurrying about on social media trying to give off a we are trying our best while at the, same time have been begging for a lockdown for weeks now with their scare tactics.

They're about to be part of the tories finally finishing what Thatcher started and Bury this city and put thousands of people out of work.

These two should be chased into the Mersey for their behaviour.

Well if Kuntstwat is correct that's our half term trip to Scotland fooked, and if it goes on until the end of the year our new year trip to Edinburgh is out the window as well!

I know it's small beer compared to what some people are going through, but we need those breaks, we're proper struggling to function as a family at present!

Oh well, it is what it is!

Do you even lift?

It’s a fucking disgrace, this Northern lockdown. What are the odds of them not shutting down the Home Counties when cases inevitably rise just like they have up there?

The cases in several high profile Tory constituencies are well above the level in Bolton when that was locked down a while back! Two tier cuntry mate!

The rates on Merseyside are shocking, something had to be done.  I'm not convinced these measures are the right ones though, time will tell.

The rates in Greater Manchester are shocking too mate, why isn't that tier 3? Nottinghamshire, Leeds? Why is Liverpool City area the only tier 3 lockdown area?

It smacks of a political decision rather than a scientific one!

I don't know what the threshold is to get into Tier 3, maybe 500 per 100,000?  It would seem arbitrary though so it may be more to do with the rates in Manchester currently being on a downward trend?

Nottingham is an odd one though, maybe they'll announce something there.

Maybe you're right, but the national average is around 100 cases per 100k people, Manchester and a few other places are miles above that!

Yes a week ago it was nearly as bad as Liverpool and Knowsley are now, but the Manchester rate has dropped from 582 to 477 in the last week.

Pubs, bars, gyms, betting shops, casinos, and adult gaming centres across Liverpool, Wirral, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens and Halton will close as part of tough Tier 3 coronavirus lockdown restrictions - the region's leaders confirmed in a joint statement this morning.

The statement from leaders across the Liverpool City Region also reveals the Army is being drafted in and the region is to receive a six-month package of financial government support as part of the Tier 3 restrictions to be announced by Boris Johnson later on Monday amid spiralling coronavirus cases.

Boris stated a few weeks ago that he could bring in the army for assisting the police, we are being told something else here now.

If @Spy Bee is claiming they don't work, I would like an explanation as to why he would take £120 from me on something he says do not work?

I'm hoping this explanation will be very good.

You cheeky cunt! I sent you a load for free!

You have to wear them, it's compulsory, so I am helping you tick a box.
