The footnote to this is inevitably going to be various tawdry news stories about him in years to come which would otherwise have completely escaped everyone’s notice.

Video online snorting what looks like white powder at a shit house party.

Made bankrupt.

Revealed to be pestering trans-Love Island contestant via DMs.

Etc.

Made himself a joke figure forever, the bellend.

Stop using bits of my personal bucket list in posts, mate. Last time I'm sharing anything with you.

It's all backfired spectacularly for the daft cunt. I imagine he thought he'd come across as some advocate for the downtrodden young footballer, standing up against the tyrants of English football that only pay 18 year old youth team players a paltry 7k per week and having them exist in the Gulags of Melwood. Not to mention being forced to listen to the advice of world class nutritionists, physios and sports psychologists. Bet it's like a hard labour camp.

The agent will be made up.  He’s now famous.  He’s clearly too thick to give a shit what anyone thinks about these tweets.  This is how the internet works and it’s why Piers Morgan and all these other cunts make a living out of it.

I knew he’d deleted it before I typed that post.  He’s getting exactly what he wants.  Deleting the account is all part of the game.  He’ll be back and in greater numbers.

He’s not getting what he wants unless he wants his brand to be a clown show overnight. If he didn’t give a shit what anyone thinks of those tweets he would have left them up. He’s on damage limitation precisely because of what people will think of them and how it may impact his business.

He’s some random fella from Dubai who is somehow a football agent.  It’s not hard to put two and two together.  He’s been dishing bigoted small minded tweets for years with some being recently.  Money or his “brand” is definitely not a problem for him.  He’s probably been told to delete them tweets by whoever is backing him but he’s achieved what he was after regardless which is some notoriety.

True- but if you were a player looking for an agent, why on earth would you choose him? He's not going to 'win' with Duncan, and has made himself look stupid, unprofessional and petulant to boot.

Not to mention everyone now knows that he discriminates against people with mental health problems, is misogynistic, hates gays, and stalks Babaestation girls like a massive creepy fuckwit on Instagram.

It won’t do him any harm in Dubai or the like, sure, but in the UK for better or worse cancel culture is alive and well. Thinking he’ll do better over here for it is a severe misreading of where this stuff is heading imo.

Five years ago maybe the controversy angle gets you a few lucrative gigs, nowadays you’re toast. That’s for television and your profile raising generally. Agent specific who knows, you can obviously be a despicable cunt and be employed, but usually this sort of stuff hasn’t gone under the microscope so widely.

Irrespective of semantics as to who decided to pull his Twatter account, it’s been done for one reason only and it isn’t Rafa style hand-rubbing.

Maybe he can go and work for Yahya Kirdi, that chancer who runs a branch of Papa Johns somewhere across the pond, and who tried to front a dodgy bid to buy Liverpool from the cancers back in 2010.

Think this pretty well nails it.

In the end the question of whether this whole episode helps or hurts his future career will come down to young footballers. If he can find a few 16-20 year old footballers who think "yeah, that's the guy who really had Bobby Duncan's back in that whole Liverpool saga," then he might stay in the business.

My money is on this basically ending his career, though. As The Guest notes, he's gotten some notoriety and far more people know who he is than 2 days ago. However, any footballer with choices will be watching what happens to Duncan over the next few years and unless he magically makes a move to Stoke or something, does well and ends up in the England squad in the next 5 years, they're going to see how awful it was for him. Plus he'll be locked out of probably 75% of clubs who will refuse to deal with this agent under any circumstances.

Even teenaged footballers aren't dumb enough to want this for themselves.

I think he genuinely rates Hoever and Larouci as better options for our system then either Clyne or Moreno.

Considering he sees them play everyday I will take his word for it.

We should have better cover at LB in my opinion. That however doesnt mean we should replace Moreno. Replacing something that was useless in the first place doesnt make sense.

I think it’s naive to take the side of the club without knowing the facts. I imagine LFC has a very expensive PR department and a young lad does not.

I am aware of agents influence  on the game but to assume they are the bad guys seems a bit black and white thinking.

The clubs PR said nothing you chump, his agent said everything.

We’re ok with that, right?

I'm assuming you want people to call you an idiot, idiot.
