Birds wearing tights.

Probably the best thing about being alive if I'm honest.

Had a seminar today taken by an Eastern European lass who's just finished her Masters, wearing a short dress with tights and knee-length boots.

Might have deliberately asked her a question I knew the answer to just as everyone else was packing up to go, so I could creep her up alone.

Will never see her again, obviously.

Have the Echo been alerted of her being missing yet?

I’m headed back for the derby - anniversary present for the missus, we got married at Anfield December 02 so its as close to the day as we could hope for.

then headed back over to Cuba for a weeks drive east to west, couple of days in Madrid on way back to oz.

followed by potentially 4 weeks enforced leave, sat on my arse at the beach over the road for a St Kilda summer.

return flights aus to Europe came in under $500 due to air miles stash.

winter looks fucking superb!

And sometimes, if we’re very lucky, summer comes back for one last encore.

Absolutely stunning here today. In Scotland

I just sat & had my break in Princes Street Gardens, all the leaves on the trees have changed colour but you'd think it was the middle of June.

Magic.

You could be quids in mate as the dollar is utterly fucked at the minute, and showing no signs of recovery.

also the fact we have another of murdoch’s  fucking puppet clowns in charge, I can’t see things improving.

where you headed?

Watching your kid walking through a massive pile of leaves.

Me and my Mum took my 6 year old nephew to a park the other day and as we were sat down on a bench we watched a couple of grandparents and their very young grandaughter have an absolute wail of a time in a load of fallen leaves under a tree. It kept the little girl happy for ages. Sometimes it takes simple things to enjoy the pleasures of life.

Had a stroll round Croxteth Hall Park the other day. Crisp air, blue sky, leaves all over the place. It was fucking lovely. Woke up in a terribly shite mood. That walk proper sorted my head out. January is the only month I can't abide.

January's grim. It's the hangover after Christmas and New Year's Eve, cold and dark, and the first signs of Spring are still a way off. Not a fan either.
