Totally agree. There is enough hate in the world so encouraging love can only be a good thing. Personally I have never met a trans person but I don't think it would be big deal.

That you know of. I tend to think they're a bit like syrups, people only really notice them when they're noticeable.

it seems perfectly logical that a person would upend his entire life, change his gender etc..just so he can hurt some women on a sport field

cant see how people are having trouble buying it.

Congratulations on successfuly rebutting an argument that nobody has made.

apologies.

my mistake

Personally I'm not comfortable with girls and women being hurt because males are able to con their way into their sports, but I appreciate that's not a concern for misogynists.

there was 1 in our work

proper blokey lad, into footy etc then he just decides he wants to be a woman.

its a simplistic view but as long as they arent hurting anyone, people  can be who the fuck they want to be.

"Hate post". A post reporting something that actually happened is a "hate post".

You are a ridiculous parody of a human being.

There are multiple posts throughout this thread, you ridiculous parody of a human being.

True. I've never met a gay person either and I mix a bit. Not my concern be whatever the fuck you want.

You’ve never met a gay person??? What? I know you live somewhere in the outer Hebrides or something but don’t you run IBM or something?

What an absurd post for a variety of ways. Being middle aged and having never met someone who is gay, which is hilarious, and then also having been the guy who got banned for being racist but of course he thinks people can be who they want. Credit to you eh.

So find one then. Try presenting some evidence for the first time in your life.

You're the one peddling anti-Trans stuff throughout this thread. It's there for everyone to see. Try being aware of yourself for the first time in your life.

Is this really an issue? How many on here know a trans person or have even interacted with?

Several, all trans-women, either through work or friends, as well as a number of cross dressers and drag artists. The trans-women tended to be shy, rather sweet people who wanted to be left alone to get on with their lives. They certainly weren't the culture war warriors you see in the US infesting Twitter and seeing who can shout the loudest. The cross dressers and drag artists were funny as fuck for the most part, especially one lad from work who was a stereotypical Millwall supporter and a complete lad- he came down the stairs for the bells at New Year's at a friend's house, in a long satin gown, proudly escorted by his boyfriend. Best entrance ever.

If all these "hate posts" are right throughout the thread, it shouldn't be too hard to find any, should it. Again, I invite you to find a single example.

I see this accusation made against J. K. Rowling all the time too. All the headbangers saying how she hates trans people, yet strangely, none of them can ever point to a single hateful thing she's ever said about trans people.

No never. I am in the city the whole time but no never met an openly gay bloke.

You said you lived in the north of Scotland? Anyway you saying you’ve never met a gay person is just as much bollocks as you saying it’s impossible to knock someone out

Maybe he just didn't know they were gay. Some people don't pick up the signs. My nan never knew Freddie Mercury was a bumder.

I have no radar for it at all, unless someone is screamingly obvious, I won't pick up on it.

I've found out in the last couple of months that most of the bar staff in the pub I drink in are gay & I had absolutely no idea.

You probably have, but it just didn't come up in conversation.

"So... Shagged any good men lately?"

Can't believe so many of them go out and about without their 'I'm gay' lanyards, it's political correctness gone mad.
