Sounds like suso is leaving for AC Milan on a 4 year deal.

I think we will regret not giving him more of a chance when he impressed in Rodgers first . Should've kept him last season and not signed Alberto

Sign a shit player for £7million lose a better player for £0.  Moneyballs The Liverpool Way.

This Origi thing is ridiculous. We are in effect paying a 175k per week fee to Lille to the end of the season on top of his wages to borrow our own player , a player I might add who has barely scored a goal all season. Can you imagine any other club than us who could ever get caught up in shit like this. Just use Sterling Mario and Sturridge for now ( We barely ever play 2 up anyway ) and if we need another young pacey striker just use Ibe, Sinclair or Ojo.

Have to agree with you there. Not only that, I wonder how many games he'd actually get if he is brought in early.

Id be inclined to leave him be. If he's finding it hard to score in the belgian league, he'll probably find it even hard in the PL.

I'm not against bringing origi in, have a feeling it could be good for him seeing the last few months have gone to shit for him. The next half of the season might just give him time to get settled and hit the ground running next season.

But on the face of it, it does seem almost lazy and unnecessary. Is he really going to make a difference to this season now? Probably not. To me it seems like we have other areas that need sorting or if we want another striker we should be targetting someone who has a half decent chance of coming in and hitting the ground running

He plays in France. Admittedly not a massive step up, but a step up all the same.

He'd be playing with better players here tho, which could alter his woeful stats.

Could.

But probably won't , that is.

I think Lille are trying to take the piss asking for 6m euros, if they don't lower their price Id wait until the summer.

Bringing him now would be good though as he possesses attributes we need, he has a lot of pace and his hold up and link up play is very good.

Anytime I've watched Lille they are not impressive and I think he would be getting a lot more chances playing with players like sterling, lallana and Coutinho.

I don't put much faith in goal scoring stats of strikers in other leagues, Torres was never really prolific before joining us in comparison to what he scored when he'd arrived. There are lots of cases similar with high scorers flopping.

I save judgement until they arrive but from what little I've seen I think he will work here

Give them a player for 6 months they probably wont even buy in the summer? Sounds about right.

We have about as much chance as getting Pogba or Vidal as we do Tevez or Morata. No chance.

Yeah you could pretty much see it playing out that way.

If Balotelli's to go it definitely shouldn't be a loan deal.
