we're brilliant going forward but from the 6 back players (GK, FBs. CBs, DM) only Sakho and Mignolet are good enough, the rest needs binning. Our attacking players are doing great this season but adding some quality at the back is crucial.

definitely if we can get a dominant midfielder this jan would really help us kick on gerrard ,lucas and hendo just does not work and the full back positions can get sorted in the summer at present id sell glen johnson not sure what he does for us

If Gerrard played half as many games, he'd contribute twice as much. Ferguson showed how to handle past-prime greats and get more out of them than is reasonable to expect.

 

Yes but Rodgers ain't Ferguson. He doesn't have the cajones to bench Gerrard. I saw Gerrard hit another daft pass down the line when we were under pressure. It went out and Stoke came back onto us. Rodgers is on the sideline clapping away like a seal.

Our defence wasn't as dire as some people reckon. Two quality they scored and we;re missing our left back and one of our first choice CBs.  Pissing down with rain in the land of the giants the Lads dug in when they had to and Mig made a couple of decent saves

Gerrard & Lucas in midfield together means the opposition can drive a bus through us, we'll continue to give away goals. It just dos'nt work.

Don't think many teams will go to that cesspool and score 5, but I don't think many teams with hopes of top 4 will give away 3 daft goals either. Much work to be done and hopefully some signings to be made.

Great to score 5 goals, even if one was an own goal, one a defensive cockup and one a pretty soft penalty. Massive midfield shaped hole in the centre of our midfield, and we are so porous its untrue. Ming had a poor game too apart from the save from Stevie G. I'll take the three points though.
