All this complaining about Chelsea's roughhousing is legitimate. But why didn't we retaliate with some stiff studs challenges of our own. If the referee isn't going to protect our players, which was clear after 5 minutes, it's the duty of the players to protect each other.

When Mirallas gored Suarez, what happened? It took Suarez to try to knee him on the sidelines an hour later. Somebody should have busted Barkely in the ankle - that would stop this kind of shite immediately.

We need a hard man, have for years.

The flaw in your arguement is you think webb and other refs will be consistent and let our 'rough house' tactics go unpunished just because they've let the oppos off. That's very dangerous thinking and not likely to be the case.

How many times over the years have  we seen the player taking retribution into their own hands being the one sent off or booked? Too frequently Id say.

Anything happen to Cou and Sahko after it? hope someone slapped them Rick James stylee

The last thing that should have been on any of our players' minds at full time never mind half time. The fact it was Eto'o played as much a part in Webb's bottling it as Mourinho and the home influence.

I thought our performance wasnt as good as it has been over the last few weeks, which i guess was expected, this schedule was going to take it's toll sooner or later. You could see Henderson and Allen especially were quite far from 100%.

Disappointing that we didnt get anything from the game though, as we should have had two clear penaltys, again. How Terry can clatter Suarez like that before getting the ball is ridiculous, and Eto'o going into Suarez like that right infront of Webb without him doing fuck all was just sickening. The goals we conceeded were disappoiting too, the first one is a combination of bad luck and quality finishing from Hazard, fuckin typical it bounces out to him like that. On the second maybe Mignolet should have done slightly better.

At the end though 6 points from these last four games is decent.

Unfortunately it looked a game to far for us, we looked totally jaded. The midfield have done really well the last few weeks but the lack of rotational options seems to have caught up with us. Having said that using Smith instead of Alberto to replace Allen was just downright irresponsible, fuck knows what that will do for Alberto's confidence.

Injuries are threatening to derail our chances, so reinforcements in January are a must as the squad is threadbare and you're always going to be carrying some injuries anyway.

The game itself was a bit disappointing, the half hour after our goal to them taking the lead was dismal, it was fairly even after that but the damage was done. Even so a little a bit of luck goes a long way and yet again we were denied by poor officiating. it's hard enough trying to gain points at the Etihad and Stamford anyway but when you're robbed of legitimate goals and blatant penalties a tough assignment becomes damn near impossible.

We're still in a decent position but the Hull game is absolutely massive now.

The terry grapple on suarez, the cahill slide on suarez, the eto boot on henderson, the eto knee on suarez. A farce of a game. They were told to go out and rough us up, and they got away with it. Terrible refereeing.

I'm worried about our injuries - gerrard, sturridge, enrique, flanagan, allen, sahko. Henderson isn't 100% fit, kelly seems perpetually unfit.

That's eight players. Our squad is threadbare. Top four was there if we wanted it this season - I'm not sure the summer signings have helped.

Arsenal, Tottenham, City, United Newcastle and Everton were all poor over the weekend so I wouldn't be too worried about the performance to be honest. It's just a bollocks that Chelsea had their best day of the season, we were unlucky with the header off the bar and Webb was ref. Otherwise it would have been an ok day and heads would be high going into an easier half of the season with reinforcements on the way, hopefully.

Injuries is a massive worry at the moment. But we clearly have a better spring than we've had fall, in terms of the schedule. If we can keep up our level of performance i think we still have a great chance of a top four finish. Hopefully we'll act quickly in the transfer window as well, cause we desperately need reinforcements now.

One day after the stamford bridge butchering and instead of discussing about the criminal pretending to be a referee and his unhealthy obsession with Liverpool, the media focus on Suarez and whether he is a diver or not.

How did we end up with our back against the wall again? Why should Rodgers have to defend Suarez after yesterday's game? He's done nothing wrong.

We are constantly bullied by the media, certain managers and the FA and yet we do NOTHING to change it.

Absolutely DISGUSTING.

Yes, my point is though that eventually we need to do something about it. Liverpool FC is bigger than any Portuguese rat or any referee.

We have to employ a strategy to counteract this kind of attacks. It destabilises the team. Our CEO, the owners and their expensive advisors need to come up with a solution.

Take legal action against the bastard, or any bastard who attempts to do something similar. Go to FIFA, or UEFA.

It doesn't matter who we sign, ultimately they won't let us challenge for anything.

What Pochettino said about Southampton probably applies to us aswell. We are seen as too nice and its easy to fuck us over. Webb is probably scared of Mourinho.

One of the major aspects we miss without Gerrard in the middle is influence.

Steven Gerrard shouldve been made to do an interview straight away with one of his mates from the media. He's the current England captain and its World Cup year, his opinion does carry weight with the fa.

He could have went on sky sports lambasting the state of officiating and reminding sky that unless Suarez gets fair treatment he'll end up in Spain next year with all the other superstars. He could've pointed out how he has played against Morinihio sides many times before and the mans talking nonsense.

When you're under attack bring out the guns.
