A fella I used to work with had a Billy Joel 'joke' that always worked.

 

He'd walk up to a few of us who were standing around talking & just stand with us.

Then he'd sing "IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT...." and casually walk away.

 

The rest of us would then have that song going round our heads all day.

Great that. This used to be my party piece in a piano bar called Mad Dogs in Edinburgh when I worked up there 15 years ago. 2am, and Stringy would be up there giving the Vic Reeves treatment to assorted lounge classics, but this was the one that requested most (only by my mates).
