How do you mean? Do you just get a blank white page, or is it something else? You should be able to load up the site regardless of whether you are logged in or not. Is this issue only on your ipad?

Yeah, only on the iPad. Tried to restart it, delete cache. For some reason, it just crashes while trying to load every time. Perfectly possible it's my own incompetence to blame in some way...

I renewed yesterday, can access the MF and the platinum forum but I'm not showing as paid and have adverts everywhere.

 

Any advice?

You are showing as paid (name is in gold), and if you can access the MF then you're definitely in. The ads are showing because of the theme you have selected. Scroll to the bottom and select the subscriber theme and the ads will stop showing.

I’d also say I know ads help keep this place going and you need to make a living but I’d seriously review the way ads ruin the site on a mobile if not a member. 
 

The place is worse than the echo website and no way will anyone hang around to become a new poster or member.

Yeah it just goes to the default theme and I can't do anything about it.

 

As for new members, people aren't really registering for forums these days so the membership is generally what it was 10 years ago. So the ads bring in more money than potential new members would, making them a necessarily evil.
