I saw this. Fucking downer if true. Early Feb? Fuckin el, has he broke his leg?

Think a leg break would have been the better option.

His injury is something along the lines of tearing his calf muscle in two, is what ive heard, which sound like it will take ages to heal.

Just read on the Echo that Curtis Jones isn't taking part in regular training over in Dubai.

When is this lad's availability to play football going to be talked about in the same way as it is with Naby, Ox and even Thiago?

Yeah, I like him, but the injury thing is becoming an issue now. He's out more often than in.

And he's down again....

Luis Diaz has suffered an injury setback and has left the #LFC training camp in Dubai. He hasn't featured for the Reds since suffering a knee problem in the 3-2 Premier League defeat at Arsenal on October 9.

Jürgen Klopp has confirmed Luis Diaz is to undergo further assessment on an issue sustained in training during Liverpool’s Dubai camp.

We really need to look at our medical team - this is shite.

Luis Díaz will undergo surgery tomorrow to recover from the lateral collateral ligament injury in the knee. Liverpool expects the Colombian to play again in March

So fuckin amateurish from so called professionals.

I would have thought they'd taken specialist advice - if they have and that was wrong then that is bad but if they didn't and if they had he should have had an op in Oct then it is seriously negligent.

They had a great department, pissed them off by being arses so much that they left and now this is happening.

If you buy something expensive and know that you cannot afford to buy another one for ages (basically the FSG model todate) wouldn't you bring in the best medical team you could get your hands on to look after it? How much does a top class medical department cost to run? Couple of mil a year? How much does it cost to pay 11 midfielders?

I just don't get them over this at all.

If FSG goes,  hopefully whoever comes in invests in that straightaway. Protect whoever they buy.

As i said earlier - I would have thought they'd taken specialist advice - if they have and that was wrong then that is bad enough but if they didn't and if they had he should have had an op in Oct then it is seriously negligent and needs fucking sorting.

Well at least we got some nice pictures of Diaz training, what an utter shambles. As much as midfield needs sorting, clearly the medical department needs a good overhaul to because this is an absolute shambles at this point.

It’s really disappointing he’s injured, but those were fantastic photos.

Well whatever it is, they need to sort it out sharpish. Hopefully the new doc will help things.

The last thing we need is to invest heavily in the team and for them to be injured. Based on our history of investment, we are all of the top clubs can ill afford that. Diaz barely missed a game before he arrived here.
