Get ready for a loss.

No chance.

I wouldnt put Inter in any acca for some time, truly awful side they have now, and have been for at least 12 months.

Their price reflects their fall from grace.

makes them getting rid of Coutinho seem even stranger

Yep, can't be explained. Their fans were really fucked off.

I hope there is no suggestion that shit coat merely had a short term plan for the club to advance his career/ reputation/ ego at the expense of the long term health of the club? Because he's the best manager in the world don't you know ?

Has he done anything like this before?

City's defending looks poor. I'm sure it will improve as the season goes on but they could lose a fair few points early on if they keep on like that.

Very surprised that the defence wasn't looked at seriously during the summer ( They are supposed to be in for Van Buyten I believe ).

Struck me as plainly an Achilles heel last season.

From memory, they had the most clean sheets and conceded the fewest goals in the league.

they solid at full strength, just seem to go to pot without Kompany

To be fair, he only played 24 league games last season, yet they were still the best defence over the entire league season. Don't get me wrong, they're definitely weaker without Kompany, he's quality. He's the captain.

I wasn't aware of how many games he'd missed to be honest or the difference between goals conceded when he does and doesn't play just observations from when I've watched them without out him the rest of them seemed to look different players.

Think it was worse the season before last when he got suspended then injured around january time if I recall correctly, that might have had something to do with it being Savic who came in for him!

Chelsea playing without a striker tonight, bizarre. Mata benched again.

Probably not too much of an issue when you have Oscar, De Bruyne, Hazard and Schurrle on the pitch! I don't think they'll have trouble getting goals, and if they win like that it's extra ammo for when Maureen next trolls Moyes, so a win win if it works. Have been looking forward to this for a while, glad it's almost ready to start.

Just remembered Schurrle scoring a neat goal for them pre-season and checked his wiki page, he's actually listed as a striker too, so it's likely he'll be the furthest forward. Maybe it's just set out as without a striker but Schurrle and Oscar alone are both well capable of scoring so it should still be a decent match.

It's pretty shit for Lukaku too after what he did last season. Think of what he could do with the supply that side is capable of giving him. He needs games, just like Sturridge did, and when he gets them he'll probably cause chaos for other teams if his confidence starts flowing.
