Can't disagree with that. However to play the advanced role we would have to move Gerrard! And I think both Henderson and Shelvey have more about them. He was a £6m player, who we all thought would provide good cover for Gerrard.

I think he played the last day to help us at set pieces as city are a tall side and they scored from a corner in both league games. If he plays again tomorrow night IMO it will be for this same reason.

Plenty of men in midfield and tell Spearing, (who I pray to God will be fit in time), to man-mark Silva, although I remember being sat in the Anny Road end for the Athletico Madrid game two years ago and not taking my eyes off Aguero because he's such an ingenious player that he was a constant danger who seemed to find space and time throughout virtually the entire game.
