Not Kneejerk here but we are going to struggle to make the Champions league this season again, we are mentally as weak as any team in the league. We have now dropped points at home to Sunderland and Norwich. Not good enough to make the top 4 if this continues.

Altogether we played brilliant for 60 odd minutes. Should have won it by 4 or 5 goals. Its ultimately the fault of our forwards not knowing how to just fucking stick the thing in the net.

But still, then we go and bring on Henderson for Bellamy who was our best attacking outlet and completely fucking nullify ourselves and leave ourselves no chance of getting back in it. Fucking crazy.

Some observations:

- created enough chances to win before they equalized, but finishing was poor. Suarez needs to relax.

- alarming drop in chances created after the equalizer as we panicked yet again (until the last minute!)

- I will never understand bringing on Carroll for Downing of all players, and ending up with Kuyt wide left. Poor decision.

- Downing needs to learn to shoot first time. At the moment, it looks like he WANTS to hit the opposition players, given how long he waits

- Adam needs to develop a different stratgey on the break than "run slow and hope someone barrells into the back of me for a free kick"

- near the end, it was only really Enrique showing desire to take it to Norwich (again, until the last minute)

Very disappointing. Fourth is a distant dream if we continue to let games like this slip away from us.

It's a must win at West Brom, that's for certain. Whoever is manager would find himself under pressure if we weren't winning what should be our easy games, and Kenny can't be exempt from that if results haven't picked up significantly by the end of the season. At the moment I don't think he's doing himself any favours with his substitutions, which are infrequent and often too late.

We've made a very poor start to the season and need to turn it around quickly, or we're going to drift into mid table obscurity.

Mental midgets.

Stupid substitutions too. Carra a fucking liability again, defending twenty yards deeper than necessary simply because of him being on the pitch.

Aye.

In fairness, we should've noticed it last season as we failed when the game had any sort of significance attached to it, against Braga and when European qualification was on the line in the last two games. Expect us to put together an excellent run at the end of season when it's too late for it to matter.

I'm so fucked off with that result. We battered them, but we are so easily caught out at the back. Some really baffling substitutions. I can understand Agger coming on at the end so we could get balls in the box from full back. Couldnt understand taking off Bellamy though.

In some ways I'm happy with the way we played, but how many fucking times are we going to hit the woodwork. Some incredibly sloppy finishing has cost us. Henderson and Suarez against Stoke. Dirk and Henerson against the Mancs and Suarez and Carroll today.

Urrrggghh!!

Carroll is fuckin shite, I still back what I said about him when we first signed him (being worth closer to 35p than 35m).

Kenny did himself no favours with that last sub (Maxi could have changed it). If Henderson was coming on it should have been for Adam only, otherwise don't bother.

We should have won that match (but i am constantly thinking that), our finishing is abysmal.

My fuckin stream went dead at the end so i missed the drama at the end. FUCK! I'm so pissed off we dropped points.

It's very worrying how the heads drop when we concede and the managements movements to try and get us back into the ascendancy.

Bring on the next game. It's just a pity as we were playing so well at times. The players must be gutted.

I'm sick to the back teeth of reading comments about bent refs whilst we're dropping points because 1. We're not good enough, 2. Suarez gives the ball away for fun and 3. Kenny's substitutions are too late and ineffective.

Yes, some refereeing decisions are pretty disgraceful but that applies to every game, every weekend, every team. We need to shut up whining about referees and face the fact that if we were capable of putting away the chances we create we'd be higher up the table.

Midfield was mediocre today, no pressure, so little creativity. None of the substitutions made any sense, or did anything to improve us. It was a pretty shit game.

Adam and Gerrard don't work in a midfield pair, especially when our defense plays so deep. Neither like to sit back, and Adam is way, way, way too slow to get back when the opposition break into that massive hole in front of our defense.

Been wasting chances all season yet our defence keeps shipping goals from the small number of chances the opposition get, and you'll still hear people turn a blind eye to it. Sooner people stop being sentimental at this club then the sooner we might be able to move on as a team. Absolutely shocking substitutions. This team needs a serious kick up the arse but to be honest it looks like the shite we have got rid of this last 12 months has been replaced by a slightly better type of shite, major surgery still needed.

Havent seen any of the game, heard a bit on the radio. Have nothing to base this on other than the past two results and lack of creativity at home, but.........

Is Gerrard, the legend he is, making those midfielders around him put in a lesser shift? Do they all try and play everything through him or just think he's good enough to win it on his own and therefore play under their usual level?

We need a #9 of Aguero/Hernandez/Torres/Van Persie's quality plus a world class centre back to partner Agger and a right winger to take Henderson's place in January. I doubt the owners will be willing to spend that much though seeing as we've already spent close to £100m on the team and there's been no actual improvement, I think we've gone backwards since the summer.

What annoyed me was Norwich had two slow strikers on the field. Yet we still play a deep defensively line, certainly in the second half. That just plays to their strengths to hit it long near our box and without Lucas they would too often win the second balls.

We need to play far higher up the field, especially when they have slow strikers. We need to move higher, press higher and play games (especially at home) in the opposition half, rather than sitting back deep when we don't have the ball.

He's shot to pieces, its absolutely painful watching him. Should retire.

There were comments from Carra at some conference in London the other week, first time I've ever seen him hinting that he recognises his time is coming to an end. He's not ready for the knackers yard just yet but I think this will be the last season that he's a guaranteed starter when fit.

He's 34 in January, OK he's got an advantage over some ageing players because his game has never been about pace so he won't suffer too much from losing what he has but he's not the player he was three or four seasons ago and it's pointless kidding ourselves otherwise.

Before all the usual drama queens start, I'm not saying he should be dumped out of the squad now so save me the screaming hysterics about Liverpool legends. He is, but so is Rushie and he couldn't turn out for the first team now. Players get old, shit happens.

If I'm honest with myself I think I gave up hope when Bellamy went off, I just couldn't understand what we were trying to achieve by doing that.
