They have landed on their feet with tomorrow night's game, with all of Palace's decent players out and the side being run by Mr Roy's bagman for no obvious reason, and Glasner coming in the next morning.

I think they may have landed on their feet,in your opinion.

Just that wee bit of not understanding Everton would also have disclose everything as well. Really not sure they’d want that.

And the wee bit of not understanding that the PL governs itself and you can't go to the high court to appeal punishments because that's what the clubs themselves voted on.

In the words of the Cat - well that’s put the crimp on a damn fine plan.

Brentford play there April 27th. It'd be wonderful to think he could score a goal that makes a difference to their survival, or lack thereof, you know, just to show them that he can actually score.

And then celebrates like Nick Barmby did when he scored against them.

The outcome of their appeal is set to be announced within the next 24/48 hours, according to Sky Sports.

Delayed long enough not to coincide with Palace game at Goodison. As predicted by every man and his dog...

Unfortunately he's on loan.

Yeah, I thought that was the case too. Is CAS an avenue?

Although from my very limited exposure to legal documents etc, I think a clause in a contract doesn't really matter if the clause is not lawful. So if Everton believe the premier league are acting outside the law, I would imagine it would be pretty difficult to stop them. But they would need to make a case that what the premier league process is unlawful, not just they don't much like the outcome. As they've already admitted guilt, it would seem that's all pretty unlikely - but they have cried it in a lot about the lawyer who'd been to a few arsenal games who ran the original hearing. Maybe that could be their angle.

The way so many of them try so hard to out bitter each other is so sad....

But "they don't care what the redshite say" apparantely....

Loads of them just base their entire personality around hating us. They are geographical rivals only and we only know they exist to laugh at them.

We haven't competed against them since the 80s yet they still think they are relevant to us apart from comedy value, i genuinely dont know any reds who care about them apart from pissing themselves laughing at them on a daily basis because they make themselves look stupid almost every day.

Why are they fucking bothered about us being 4 points clear at the top?. They should be more arsed about what Luton, Forest and Palace are up to or avoiding going into administration.

They tie themselves in in knots over hating us and we genuinely destroy their lives. The only joy they get is from us getting beat in finals and cheer on teams they claim to despise who are part of the Sly 6. They've genuinely lost their heads this season. If we win the league it will fuck their tiny minds up even more so they'll just invent another conspiracy theory as a coping mechanism.

Latest rumour on GOT.

5 pts back and 3 held on suspension. The second charge will be dealt with on that basis, you have been found guilty of something and we are reinstating the suspended pts deduction that hangs over you, so you lose those 3 pts.
2 charges, 8 pts total = 2 back from the original 10.
Campari may have nailed it again tbh

From The Mail.

Quote

Everton’s buyers 777 Partners are implementing a major staff cost-cutting programme with the aim of reducing headcount across the business by around five per cent.

Mail Sport has learned there have been redundancies in both 777’s London and Miami offices recently, while the American investment company’s chief financial officer Damian Alfalla has resigned.

777 have been frustrated by the length of time it is taking the Premier League to conduct due diligence on their offer to buy Everton having agreed a sale with current owner Farhad Moshiri last September.

The Premier League have been scrutinising the Everton deal for almost five months in stark contrast to other recent takeovers.

The Todd Boehly/Clearlake Capital purchase of Chelsea two years ago was approved in under four weeks, although given Roman Abramovich was forced to sell by the government following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine the circumstances were exceptional, while Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s £1.25billion investment in Manchester United was approved in six weeks.

777 were asked by the Premier League to provide further details of their funding and assurances they can bankroll the club for at least the next few years this week, in another indication that approval for the takeover is not guaranteed.

The delays are proving expensive for 777 as they have been effectively funding Everton since September, and have committed around £190m in loans to meet the club’s operating costs and the construction of their new stadium at Bramley Moore Dock.

777’s funding for Everton is facing fresh scrutiny after an insurance company they have borrowed from – Haymarket – have been investigated for potential breaches of US governance regulations.

777 declined to comment about their cost-cutting, but a source close to the company said that a fluid headcount is standard practice in the financial services industry.
