Pretty much what gkmacca says below.

If there is one player that can make the very highest grade, International level, then in my opinion it will be Andre.

Pace, power, composure and now leadership. He still has some aspects to improve, but he's only 17 and seeing how he has developed so far, I have no doubts that he will improve year on year.

He has the potential to be the player Micah Richards could have been.

irwin ? nowhere near good enough, good hearted lad but so limited

My point was he's been so versatile he hasn't really had a chance to show his potential anywhere (I bet he proves better than Warnock at least!), but that's another definitive dismissal from you!

Awful. Looks out of depth at reserve level. Clark is shite and Baker is a classy but inexperienced player but N'Gog can't even threaten them.

He also does zero off the ball. A great striker like Rush harried and harried until he forced an error and created a chance for himself. NGog just watches and waits. It's incredibly exasperating.

Amazing to see a team go three up and then decide to do nothing but kick the opposition. Well, Ince puts one of the early ones away and the ref gives the clear foul by Clark and it's 3-3.

Not a surprise that Albrighton in the hole caused such havoc as Wisdom and Regan will be used to having a DM and we didn't have one today. Thomas came on and added a bit more defensive presence, but Roberts isn't going to give you a battler or track a player in the hole all day.

Hopefully Suso was watching Albrighton as he needs to be more mobile in these games.

Fulltime. Villa 3 (Gardner 2 (1 pen), Albrighton) Liverpool 1 (Silva)

Better showing second half, though we were sorely lacking a killer instinct in and around the Villa area.

I thought Toni Silva picked up his game second half, and even more so after he'd scored what was a very good goal.
