After Gerrard and Torres depart, realistically we'll have in the region of 30m to spend. I could see us in for Darren Bent to replace Torres, with Kris Boyd on a free a potential arrival. I would expect that Hicks & Gillett will insist on wages for new additions being part of the transfer budget, so I reckon it would be slim pickings afterwards. I suspect Jon Jo Shelvey will be a first team regular come Christmas.
