I like watching the television, sometimes (shock horror) commercial television stations, if that means i've got a tiny mind then so be it.

Yes, but what if you forget to turn back over and miss the first 5 minutes of the programme you were watching, as youve been distracted by an argument youre having on an internet forum about the merits of whether or not you should watch adverts or turn over the channel when they come on? The extra pissoffability of adverts is that they are 10 times louder than what you've been watching. Or what you've been ignoring, if you're just in the same room.

 

And that means you sometimes can't ignore the ads. And whatever technical excuse or get out it is they come up with, they can fuck off. They're louder.

 

I fucking hate that. You turn the volume down or mute it when the advert comes on, and then you have to change it when the adverts end and the show commences again.
