Houllier V Thommo Bust Up........

What did everyone think of the bust up at the end of the Man City match between the 2 of them?

 

Personaly I have to agree with Ian St Johns assestment on Soceer Extra and think that Thommo can be an embarassment to the club at times.

 

Mind you Houllier firmly put him in his place and there was no arguing back from Thommo which is unlike him!! :sniff:

thommo ran to the edge of the pitch, houllier ran after him and houllier told thommo to sit down and shut up,

I haven't seen this but could it be that Thompson was complaining that the equaliser was offside, which it was, and Houllier was just trying to calm him down? This happens all the time doesn't it? hardly a bust-up.

All Horseky had to do when 2-1 up and a minute left take the fcuking ball down the flank and run down time but he had'nt the brains to do that gives the ball away and bang the get their goal.Any wonder Thommo blew a fuse, Heskey should never kick another ball for our club.

From what I could see there was no "bust-up". They scored and Thompson was going mad, presumably at Heskey for giving the ball away (and quite rightly), then Houllier came over and pulled him away. That doesnt make a bust-up. Basically its a load of shit-stirrers trying to rock the boat....as usual!!

I thought it looked like Thommo wanted to have a rant at Riley for exceeding the 2 minutes extra time.Hardly a bust-up - more a quick word to behave and not embarass the club.Good dignified move by GH - if our manager had been Fergie (or O'Neill ;) ) he'd have been on the pitch himself having a rant about time-keeping.

StJohn is never going to miss a chance to have a pop at Ged but it certainly looked like GH gave Thomo a good ticking off.

 

We probably wont find out if he was having a go at Riley (justified) our No 8 (very justified) or whether he wanted to sort out some unfinished business with our former no 9!!

 

Either way he made PT look pretty silly.

 

Good to see this thread finding a way to get at the Donkey. Perhaps he will write his autobiography soon - "Gerard Houllier - my part in his downfall";)

I think tommo needs to think before he acts.

He has the club in his heart but sometimes his outbursts with his big mouth make him look like a donkey.
