Worrying thing is our poor performances haven't really been down to one or two players having an off day. The whole teams mentality is shite, our attacking "philosophy", if you could call it that, is completely hopeless.

No Torres or Gerrard and Mascherano on the bench means we were bound to struggle against a tough Sunderland team but it was up to the squad players to earn their place in the team.

Spearing had a chance today to show what he can offer the team and in all fairness he has looked what he is and that is fourth choice midfielder and i admit it would be carnage if he was not a kid from Liverpool.

Carragher has improved but still does not look comfortable.

 

Aurelio has offered very little with more often he has failed to beat the first man with both free kicks and crossing.

 

As a team it was a shocking performance once more and something that needs sorting out asap before the season is gone already.
