I bought a Mega Drive on eBay the other day, got the RGB Scart lead and Madden '92. EA Hockey is in the post, first version. I'm looking out for Revenge of Shinobi, Stryder, Castle of Illusion and Quackshot. Then I might move on to the Mega CD.

 

Also got Final Fantasy VII for the PSP from PS Store, retro gaming trip ahoy. If ever a game was made for the PSP it's FF VII.

Some fine choices. Especially pleased to see a mention for Quackshot, which I always thought was hugely underrated.

The first EA Ice Hockey on the Megadrive was pure genius. I have no clue about US sports games since.

 

Came on here to promote EA Hockey on the Megadrive too.

Toejam and Earl is where its at on the megadrive. Don't think it has a save function though. which is a bit of a ballache.

Have you had a mega cd before? I had one and it was absolute shite, crap games with very nice graphical scenes that you had to just sit and watch rather than be involved in.

 

I had the one that the megadrive sat on top of, I think there was another one that came out later where they were side by side.

 

I can understand getting one from a collectors' point of view though.
