I was hoping we sould put that money towards getting Silva or some equivalent winger. What exactly is it that would make this deal so good for Liverpool?

Its worse than I thought. A cross between Ryan Babel and Kuyt will give us a player with the shittest touch in the league, who runs into defenders (but with more pace and more energy), and will look awesomely ugly with a big nose, weird teeth and afro curls (if they exist).

 

I love that his main attribute is 'changing direction when running fast'. Id remortgage for such skill.

Exclusive: No Reds interest in Gunners target

 

Arsenal target Luc Castaignos’ agent has told setanta.com that reported interest from Liverpool in the forward is wide of the mark.

 

The teenager jumped to prominence with excellent displays for Holland’s Under-17 side at the European Championship and is believed to have a host of clubs on his tail.

 

The Castaignos camp are believed to favour a transfer to Arsenal with the proviso that he is loaned back to Feyenoord for a season.

 

Liverpool were rumoured to hold an interest, but Arie Treffers claims there has been no contact from Merseyside.
